Alexia Nepola is headed for a divorce.
The "Real Housewives of Miami" star took to Instagram on Monday to say she is "shocked and heartbroken" that her husband, Todd Nepola, "has chosen to dissolve our marriage."
"I will take comfort in the fact that my friends and family will be by my side supporting me during this difficult time," she wrote on her Instagram Story. "I'm praying for better times ahead."
Todd Nepola filed for divorce in Florida on Thursday, saying that the marriage is "irretrievably broken," according to Entertainment Tonight and Us Weekly.
Alexia and Todd, a real estate broker, have been married since 2021. She was previously married two times, first to Peter Rosello and then to Herman Echevarria. She and Echevarria separated in 2015, and he died the following year.

"After the two marriages that I've had, I was super jaded," she said in a 2021 episode of the reality show. "I've literally been married to two guys that have been liars. But when I met Todd around five years ago, I knew that he was going to be the one that I was going to be able to trust."
She added, "I honestly really want to be married to Todd for the rest of my life."

In an Instagram post in December 2021, Nepola shared photos from her wedding with Todd that month, writing that finishing the year "as Mr. & Mrs. gives me hope for the years to come." They got engaged in 2019 after two years together, according to Bravo. In 2021, their wedding was delayed after Alexia's mom died from COVID-19.
"I was on the road to marry the man of my dreams when I had to stop everything as my mother became ill," she said at the time. "What was supposed to be the happiest day of my life today has turned out to be the saddest."
During a "Real Housewives" reunion this year, Nepola denied allegations that she and Todd had been having financial problems. "I'm married to a reputable businessman that has his own business," she said.
